Rob says the best advice he ever received is:
Leadership means owning the hard calls. If it’s yours to decide, it’s yours to stand behind.
Also — be fully present where you are. Work deserves focus, but so do the people in your life. And if you’re going to build a strong team, invest in people individually. Systems matter. People matter more.
Rob began at i2m in 2018 as a Help Desk technician. Since then he has moved through various roles at i2m and now is a part-owner and Chief Operations Officer. As COO, Rob’s focus is on service delivery, operational maturity, and making sure we can scale without losing quality. That means tightening processes, improving accountability, strengthening compliance posture, and making sure our teams have the structure and clarity they need to succeed.
Rob grew up in NH and his first job was in high school selling business machines at Staples. He credits this job with showing him how to talk to business owners and how to think in terms of outcomes, not just products.
For college Rob attended Keene State and graduated with a degree in 20th century American History. During his time in school, Rob started working at the campus Help Desk progressing to desktop support after graduation. Over time, he expanded into Help Desk management, network services, audio-visual/classroom technologies, and administration of SCSM. Each step reinforced the intersection of technology, operations, and helping organizations run more effectively.
Outside of work Rob is an avid traveler. Unsurprisingly, he puts his operational prowess to use when trip planning and creates detailed itineraries for each new destination. During a recent trip to Mexico City, a popular restaurant he wanted to book was completely full. Instead of looking at popular lists or online reviews Rob took to LinkedIn to find where the restaurant’s most recent head chef was currently working and discovered he owned his own restaurant in the city. Rob reserved a table and enjoyed the best food of the whole trip.
Something that might surprise you to learn about Rob is he is an avid DND player. He loves the storytelling and strategy integral to the game. Rob also unapologetically enjoys reality TV.
