Data Breaches and Recovery
Recently, National Public Data suffered a breach involving 2.9 million users. National Public Data (also known as Jerico Pictures) collects data through a process called scraping, mining data from non-public sources. This means that people whose data is involved in the breach may not know their data is compromised. We want all our clients to be able to protect themselves, so we breached.
Monitor your credit report.
Signing up for a free service such as Credit Karma allows you to look for suspicious behavior that may be a result of identity theft from a breach. While we have many tools at our disposal when it comes to nding out if your email has been compromised, monitoring your credit report is one of the only ways to determine whether your other information may have been breached.
Bitwarden.
Bitwarden password manager is our recommended password management tool. Managing your passwords with strong, un-guessable passwords is a key factor in preventing your data from being stolen. There is a free version and aside from the main feature of creating and storing strong passwords, it includes username data breach reports where you can see if your email and/or password has been breached.
Have I Been Pawned.com
This site allows you to type in your email address to see if it has been breached. As stated above, some breaches involve more than email addresses, so this is just one avenue to investigate. It is also important to note that you can only search if the breach has been publicly disclosed.

Searches in Outlook
Outlook will display the time for any emails received in the past 24 hours, but older emails only show the date. If you are looking at multiple emails from someone in a search, Sent.
If you want to see the time, you will have to set your preferences. The settings are folder specific, so you need to set it for your inbox, archives and any folders.
To do this:.
- Select the View tab
- Select View Settings
- Format Columns0d3952
- Received
- Select your desired format (scroll up)
- Push OK to exit
- Push OK again
