Mimecast

Email Security and Compliance

If you are looking for security and compliance in your inbox – Mimecast is the product for you! Similar to other email spam filters, Mimecast works by using a series of filters to scan incoming email traffic and identify potential threats. Once a threat is identified, Mimecast takes action to quarantine the email and prevent it from reaching the inbox. Mimecast also scans outbound emails to prevent against outbound attacks and data leakage.

The difference between Mimecast and other filters is that it also offers features such as email archiving and disaster recovery. This allows businesses to keep a secure copy of all their emails in case of an outage or other emergency. After a two months test period, we at i2m made the switch and have been happy with the results!

Because we are first and foremost concerned about security and compliance, we like Mimecast because it can help to meet various compliance requirements. Mimecast’s email archiving ensures that all your emails are safely stored off-site, making them easy to retrieve if you ever need them for reference or legal purposes.

i2m in the community

The Department of Labor Education and Training Administration (ETA) recently hosted a workshop called “Employer Partnerships: Creating Quality Pathways and Work Experiences for Youth.”

As a panelist, i2m employee Dorian shared his experience with the JEVS IT Pre-Apprenticeship program, specifically his internship with i2m. He talked about the importance of hands-on experience and how the internship lead to a job with i2m.

We are thrilled to have Dorian on our team and with the JEVS internship that brought him to us.
